100–120 days from planting to harvest, ~70% of nutrients returned to soil, deep root system to break compaction — hemp earns its place in a rotation.
Hemp grows as an irrigated crop across every Australian state — primarily in summer, in temperatures between 15–27 °C, in fertile, well-drained clay loam or silt loam soils.
Sowing is typically September through November, with harvest into Australia's summer/autumn shoulder. After harvest the crop is retted in the field, dried to below 12% moisture, and baled for transport.
Tell us where your paddocks are, what irrigation you have, and what acreage you can put to a 2026/27 hemp crop. We'll come back within one business day.
